NY Tech Alliance - A11Y in Technology

On November 2, DubBot’s own Blaine Herman will be joining other experts in accessible technology for the November Meetup of the NY Tech Alliance.

The NY Tech Alliance was created in 2016 when the NY Tech Meetup and the New York Technology Council merged. Today, NY Tech Alliance has "over 60,000 individual and institutional members, reflecting the full spectrum of the greater New York area tech community and making it the largest tech organization in the region."

The mission of the NY Tech Alliance is to support the technology community and ecosystem in the greater New York area. They work every day "to connect businesses, startups, entrepreneurs, organizations, educational institutions, government, and people from all parts of the New York City tech ecosystem to the resources and networks they need to grow, serve, and be successful."

November’s NY Tech Meetup will be examining the current state of accessibility in technology and highlighting owners and founders of companies like DubBot that are making a significant impact in the lives of people with disabilities through their work improving accessibility in technology.

There will also be "quick talks about the current state of accessibility and developer tools, and demos of great technologies!"

Here’s the agenda (in partnership with Knowbility and A11y NYC, and powered by Xandr)

  • 5:30 p.m. - Networking (on Airmeet)
  • 6 p.m. - Demo Program
  • 7:15 p.m. - Program Ends / More Networking (on Airmeet)
Take a look at the full program details and RSVP at the bottom of the page...it’s virtual and it's free!
