DubBot's Drupal Module 2.0

Just last year, DubBot, in collaboration with our friends at Lullabot, announced the release of our Drupal module.

The Drupal module offers comprehensive functionalities for optimizing your website’s accessibility and performance right from inside your Drupal instance.

One year later, we are excited to announce the DubBot Drupal module 2.0! This upgrade offers issue highlighting and role-based configurations that determine which issue tabs are available to users.

The screenshot below shows how issues are now highlighted in red (note that highlight colors are configurable) within the page. The corresponding issue title, WCAG criteria reference, explanation, and failure summary are visible on the right side of the page—all for a user when logged into the CMS.

A red arrow pointing from the issue title which reads Elements must meet enhanced color contrast ratio thresholds to the red box highlighted issue within the page in Drupal.

Drupal admins can grant permission to view the various tabs in the DubBot module using the roles configured in their Drupal installation.

admins can grant tab viewing permissions by selecting the appropriate box each for each configured role for the following: View DubBot Accessibility Tab View DubBot Best Practices Tab View DubBot Broken Links Tab View DubBot SEO Tab View DubBot Spell Check Tab View DubBot Web Governance Tab The checkboxes for user roles are unchecked by default, indicating that permission to view issue tabs has not been granted. All checkboxes for admin permissions are checked by default and greyed out.
