Client Inspired: Page Sets Just Got a New Rule Option

Once again, our clients have brought us their ideas and suggestions, and we’ve put them into action.

Page Sets now have two new functionalities. These include filtering pages based on their title and excluding content based on a set of rules.

Here’s how it works.

The "Title contains" option allows you to create Page Sets based on rules that include or exclude pages based on the HTML <title> tag of the page.

For example, if you want to include all the pages in the "Who We Are" directory of your website but do not want to include the pages regarding the Board of Visitors, you would

  • INCLUDE "only pages matching all" of the following rules
    • "Path starts with" the value "/whoweare"

  • EXCEPT - exclude pages matching any of the following
    • "Title contains" the value "Board of Visitors"

The Create Page Set screen in DubBot displaying the Page Rules section with the "Includes" drop-downs and the "Except" drop-downs used to create the rules that build user specified page sets.

How’s that for customizing your Page Sets? And it's so easy to do.

This just goes to show how our client-inspired product updates are an integral part of our growth and innovation here at DubBot.
