DubBot 2019 Highlights

Product Updates Icon, two arrows forming a circle

2019 was an exciting year for DubBot. In some ways, it feels like it has come and gone in the blink of an eye. 2019 was DubBot’s second year on the market. As 2020 approaches and we plan for the new year, it seems like a fitting time to first reflect on our highlights from 2019.

Over 50 new clients on-boarded

A lot of time in 2019 was spent on-boarding new users to DubBot. We are so excited and grateful to have been able to on-board so many new users to DubBot. We are ready and eager to onboard even more new users in 2020.

Expanded client reach to include retail and financial websites using DubBot

This is one of the areas where we pushed ourselves. We on-boarded clients in industries that gave us some new and unique ideas on how DubBot can be useful for website quality assurance. It is always exciting to talk about how DubBot could theoretically be useful to different types of users. It is even more exciting to see that theory put in practice successfully!

Over 95% of clients from 2018 renewed

We have continued to be committed to a user-driven roadmap. We think that our renewal rate is a testament to our focus on client experience. We look forward to a ton of new features in 2020 being released that are direct recommendations from our users.

Improved to include Best Practice suggestions and new website inventorying options

We have taken DubBot past just accessibility recommendations to highlight best practices with website development. This information is now included in a separate panel for users to see ways that they could be improving their website code.

We also added new options for inventorying website content. Users can now opt to hand curate lists of webpages for reporting and/or submit a sitemap for inventory.

Sponsored three conferences: Web Accessibility Summit, HighEdWeb 2019 as an accessibility partner, and the 2019 HESS Member Institutions Conference

This has to be my favorite thing that we did in 2019! We sponsored and attended the Web Accessibility Summit, HighEdWeb 2019, and 2019 HESS Member Institutions Conference. During each of these conferences, I got to spend quality time learning from and sharing ideas with people in the website industry who truly aspire to improve the web for ALL users.
